FACT 1: The Bible teaches God created people upright, without sin, in a state of moral innocence. (Ecclesiastes 7:29)
FACT 2: The Bible teaches all people have voluntarily broken God's commandments, which is sin. Take just a moment now to examine your life. Have you ever lied, stolen something, dishonored your parents, committed adultery or some other act of sexual immoralty, coveted another's possessions, neglected worshiping God, used God's name in vain, failed to love God with all your heart, or failed to love your neighbor as yourself? We all have broken His commandments at one time or another.
(Romans 3:23)
FACT 3: Although people may think acts of sinning are "no big deal" and "everybody does it," the Bible teaches sin has eternal consequences. The penalty for our sins is death, not only physical, but spiritual, as our soul will spend eternity in hell, separated from the love and care of God.
(Romans 6:23; Matthew 23:33)
FACT 4: There's "Good News!" The Bible teaches there is
a way to escape hell. God's love for people is such that He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross so your sins can be forgiven, and you can start a new life in Christ that will glorify God in heaven. (John 3:16)
FACT 5: The Bible teaches eternal life is found only in His Son, and is received as we repent of our sins against God, and by exercising faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
(Acts 3:19; 4:12)
